About IPU CET BHMCT Entrance Exam
Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BCIHMCT) runs four year BHMCT program, as per the curriculum designed by Indraprastha University. The norms and standards for delivery of the courses are as laid down by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, and Government of India. The BHMCT program is divided into eight semesters each of five months duration. Admission to this course is through IPUCET (BHMCT). IPUCET (BHMCT) tests the knowledge of accounts, commerce and science apart from regular areas like Verbal ability, Reasoning and GK tested in other hotel management entrance tests.

IPU CET BHMCT Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility of IPU CET BHMCT specifies the qualifying exam, board and the minimum percentage candidates should obtain to be eligible to appear for the test. The IPU CET BHMCT eligibility criteria is given below in detail.
- Students must have passed class 12 exam from CBSE board or equivalent
- They must have obtained 50% in aggregate and must have passed in English

IPU CET BHMCT Exam Pattern
As per the exam pattern of IPU CET BHMCT, the question paper consists of 150 multiple choice questions. The medium of the exam is English only and the time duration of the test is two and a half hours. There are negative marking and students have to choose one correct answer from the four options provided. One mark is deducted for every wrong answer four marks is awarded for every correct answer.

Candidates could download IPU CET BHMCT admit card in online mode as it was released five days before the exam. Carrying the admit card to the exam centre was important to candidates to appear for the exam. The admit card mentions the following details:

Steps to Fill IPU CET BHMCT Application Form
Step 1 – Registration
Students have to fill personal details in IPU CET BHMCT application form

Step 2 – Upload Documents
In this part of IPU CET BHMCT application form, students have to upload the following documents as per the specifications given above in the table:
- Photo
- Signature
- Left hand thumb impression
After filling the above mentioned details and uploading of documents, students have to click on ‘Next’ button.
Step 3 – Enter Qualification Details
Based on the exam category selected by candidates, the qualification page appears on the screen. Students have to fill the following details related to their 10th and 12th classes in IPU CET BHMCT application form.

- Percentage of marks
- Qualifying exam
- Work experience
After filling the academic details, students have to click on ‘Next’ and then they will be redirected to the final submit page.
Step 4 – Declaration
In this part of IPU CET BHMCT application form, students have to fill the following

Click on ‘Submit’ button
On clicking ‘Submit’ button, a message pops up regarding review with two options ‘OK’ And ‘Cancel.’ Students must review the information mentioned in the application form before submitting. They should press ‘Cancel’ button and make the modifications.
Step 5 – Creation of Login ID and Password
After clicking on ‘OK’ button, another message will pop up where in candidates are asked to note down their login ID and password. The login ID and password is generated, along with the other details on the next window.
Step 6 – Course Application
Students have to go to the course application tab and select the course they want to pursue from the list.
Step 7 – Select Exam Centers
In this part of IPU CET BHMCT application form, students have to select the exam centre of their choice. After selecting the course and test centres, students have to tick the ‘I agree’ checkbox and then click on ‘Submit’ button.
On clicking on ‘SUBMIT’ button, students get a message box to preview the details that have filled, in case a candidate wants to change any of the details provided by him/her, then he/she can click on ‘CANCEL’:
Step 8 – Make the Payment
Candidate have to make the payment by clicking on “Make Payment” button.

Step 9 – Course Registration and Form Generation
After making the payment, candidates are redirected to a page where personal as well as course details will be provided along with the transaction ID. Candidate can take the printout of the page and keep it for future reference.
RESULT
Candidates who had appeared for the IPU CET can check their IP University result in the online mode by clicking on the official links given in this page. The results has been published by the university in the form of pdfs mentioning the list of examinees along with their roll numbers, region, categories and ranks. To check their IP University result , candidates will have to click on the official link given in the page. They will then have to locate their names or roll numbers and check their ranks in the pdf document .
