DCJ (Department of Communication and Journalism) is one of the renowned and prestigious Institutes in Pune, India. DCJ aims at sharpen the skills of their students by providing them the skills required and also experience. The Institution was established in the year 2003.

The qualification requirements are different for PG and UG courses. For Mass Communication UG programme, one must clear 12th standard with a minimum of 50% for General Category and 45% for SC/ST category.
Application form and submission procedure-
Registration can be done via both offline and online modes. Offline forms are available within the University and interested applicants can take the application form from there. Online registration can be done on the University’s official website.
Documents to be uploaded
Certain documents are required to be submitted with the University before seeking admission into one. Following is the list:
- Class 10th Mark-sheet
- Class 12th Mark-sheet
- College / University level Certificates
- Final year college mark sheet
- Two testimonials
- Statement of Purpose
- Caste or Reserved category certificate (if applicable)
Application fee for all the categories without any distinction is Rs.200 which should be submitted in cash. Online applicants can make the payment either by post or at the time of the entrance test.
Application forms begin from 2nd week of March and ends on the last week of April.
Admission Procedure/how to apply
Application form for DCJ Mumbai is available both online and offline. The ones residing in Mumbai can take the form from the University and fill it there and then whereas the ones far away can fill the form on the website. Candidates are advised not to wait for the last day to apply as sometimes the portal goes down and in such case, Institution is not responsible. Also, only those applicants with successful registration and application will be permitted to write down the test. Candidates are required to fill in their respective details including name, date of birth, residential address, guardian’s details, e-mail id etc.

Step 2. Enter the details and particulars asked for in the DCJ Mumbai University Application form.
Step 3. Candidates have to affix a latest photograph of them in the respective space provided in the form.
Step 4. After the successful registration of the applicant, one receives his/her registration ID (unique for everyone) which is further used for login purposes and also for downloading the admit card. Then one must submit the DCJ application.
Step 5. For further reference, the candidate can also save the copy of the application.

DCJ Pune does not conduct its entrance anywhere except on its campus. The test is conducted Nation-wise but only at the University ground. Candidates who live outside Pune should make their own arrangements for writing the exam. Also, they are suggested to visit the campus days before the exam so that they can be tension free on the day of exam.
University of Mumbai releases its Mass Communication result during the month of July usually between 2nd or 3rd week. Result is declared in the form of a PDF in a merit list. Applicants can check their respective result on the University’s website. Result will have all the details of the candidate including name, residential address, the grades scored by the candidate, guardian’s details etc.
